He'll have a bunch of money but he probably doesn't want to spend it. I know I don't want him to. Shaq on the books for another year would've solved that problem. Plus, Shaq's contract becomes a huge bargaining chip next season. I think it was a missed opportunity on many levels. I think we're all looking forward to the next chapter, though. It can't come soon enough.Jakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16208921021297172480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13718554.post-39691249743679255212009-03-09T14:46:00.000-04:002009-03-09T14:46:00.000-04:00I think Shaq would have helped, but this is not a ...I think Shaq would have helped, but this is not a championshop team either way in my opinion. It would have been nice to see how this worked out, but I think Joe planned all along to dump salary at the end of the year and that is all that AI is here for. I don't blame everything on him and have never been that much of a fan of his. I am sure he put some people in the seats for Joe D and that is important too. After this season is over, AI and Sheed can move on and we can rebuild. We need some younger guys that will play D. Old legs don't win titles....Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
