He was better than Edgar Rentaria as a player though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13718554.post-1122845261890949912005-07-31T17:27:00.000-04:002005-07-31T17:27:00.000-04:00Wait, finally you agree? I think you're being a little too hard! Not to mention, you made a comment under the catcher projections that I should've mentioned Vance Wilson. I acutally DID mention Vance Wilson amazingly enough. I should get bonus points for that.Jakehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16208921021297172480noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-13718554.post-1122839402521883762005-07-31T15:50:00.000-04:002005-07-31T15:50:00.000-04:00Finally I agree with these HOF projections. I don't like him really but the guy is a winner and I'd take him on my team anyday.

The only guy I think that could be considered in this group is my favorite sixer, Edgar Rentaria.

He'll be 30 this week and has 1500 hits, two gold gloves with more to come, and is a huge clutch hitter (1997 WS series winning hit?). Maybe he doesn't get 3000 hits but he might. He also may win three more gold gloves and play in a number of big postseason games. Plus he's my favorite. That's enough for me.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
